YOUR IMPACT

As the first APAC Talent Strategy hire, the Vice President will be aligned with the global Talent Strategy team and will establish and scale regional initiatives. The role partners closely with PWM leadership and HCM to translate global frameworks into high-impact regional programs that accelerate advisor productivity and strengthen junior talent retention. This individual will lead the execution of key training and development initiatives, helping to shape how we attract, develop, and retain talent across Private Wealth Management in the region.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

  • Establish and lead the APAC Talent Strategy presence in Hong Kong, aligned with global priorities and in close partnership with PWM leadership, regional management, and HCM
  • Translate global talent strategy into high-impact regional initiatives across onboarding, development, advancement, and culture
  • Leverage people data and survey insights to diagnose challenges and inform actionable recommendations
  • Accelerate time-to-productivity for New Private Wealth Advisors through targeted onboarding and integration, with a focus on lateral hires
  • Strengthen cultural and team integration, while reinforcing development, compliance, and risk readiness
  • Design and deliver development programming across junior talent, including structured career pathways and progression to the advisor role
  • Deliver role-specific AI enablement to enhance productivity across advisor and support populations
  • Lead end-to-end execution of regional training and development programs, including hands-on delivery of in-person and virtual sessions
  • Manage program operations, including project plans, timelines, logistics, budgets, vendors, and communications
  • Oversee presenter and session management, including speaker coordination, materials, and agenda development
  • Maintain program resources, including content libraries and documentation
  • Serve as a regional representative within the global Talent Strategy team, ensuring alignment and execution of key initiatives
  • Support high-priority AWM Talent Strategy initiatives as business needs evolve

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in Talent Strategy, Human Capital Management, or Business Management within Wealth Management, Private Banking, or Financial Services
  • Experience working within or closely partnering with HR functions preferred
  • Strong understanding of the APAC wealth management landscape, including regulatory and talent dynamics
  • Self-starter with a strong ownership mindset; able to operate independently and engage confidently with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong process discipline and follow-through
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority, time-sensitive initiatives
  • Strong technical skills, including Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas) and presentation development
  • Comfortable analyzing and working with people data; discretion in handling sensitive information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic; willing to lean in where needed
