Job Description


The proposed position is a credit analyst position within the CAG (Credit Assessment Group) of the RISQ team at BPCE ES. It aims to ensure the supervision of credit risks for BPCE EQUIPMENT SOLUTIONS, essentially through the analysis and validation of credit requests from the various entities of BPCE ES as well as reviews of the limits granted to BPCE ES' partner vendors. It is practiced in a very international environment requiring fluency in both written and spoken English, BPCE ES being present in many countries in Europe, America (United States, Brazil) and China.

This position is now attached to the Risk Department of BPCE ES, and is located in Defense.

The files received include (i) credit requests from BPCE ES subsidiaries, which were subject to a credit analysis of 1

level by the local RISQ team, (ii) reviews of limits on vendors.


The tasks of the credit analyst include:

Review of the credit quality of the counterparty and the proposed rating

  • Second-level credit analysis of final counterparties (companies, financial institutions or sovereigns) and SGEFs partner vendors
  • Qualification/ justification of the credit quality of the counterparty
  • Validation of the proposed rating for the counterparty
  • Verification of the proper use of the rating models used


Drafting an opinion on the credit application

  • Review of the structure of the proposed transaction, or of the program between BPCE ES and its partner Vendor
  • Verification of its alignment with the Groupe and BPCE ES policies and instructions
  • Review of the analysis carried out by BPCE ES of the financed asset underlying 
  • Dialogue with local teams to obtain clarifications or clarify their opinion when necessary


Decision-making on credit requests and reviews of Vendors programs

  • Autonomous decision-making by the analyst, within the framework of his credit delegations, on the basis of a reasoned analysis
  • Presentation of the request to its management or credit committee if the request exceeds the delegations of the analyst


The contribution to different transversal tasks of the team 

  • Dissemination of the risk culture and strengthening of knowledge in financial analysis within the teams of analysts of BPCE ES subsidiaries
  • Participation in the risk committees of BPCE ESs subsidiaries
