Skills and Competencies

  • Progress toward an accountancy qualification is desirable; other relevant qualifications will also be considered
  • Coursework in Corporate Finance and/or Risk and Credit Analysis is preferred
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct financial and statistical research
  • Solid academic background with knowledge of accounting principles and financial modeling
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with data extraction (e.g., web scraping), data validation, database creation (SQL), and data visualization (Power BI)
  • Familiarity with AI tools to enhance research efficiency, data analysis, and productivity
  • Advanced level of English (written and spoken) required

Education

  • Advanced active undergraduate student (Bachelor's degree) in disciplines related to Finance or Business such as but not limited to Economics, Finance, Accounting or any other similar
  • Preferably have a target graduation date in the second semester of 2027

Responsibilities

  • Prepare materials for internal briefings and research reports
  • Support the automation of public client data extraction processes
  • Compile and maintain financial information for issuers rated by Moodys Local
  • Produce analytical summaries of quantitative data to support credit analysis
  • Assist the analytical team with ongoing projects and ad hoc assignments

About the Team

The team is composed of professionals based in Peru and Bolivia, so we expect this position to interact effectively with colleagues across different geographies. The role will also support both junior and senior analysts in risk analysis and will be responsible for monitoring key market events. Additionally, the intern will work alongside other interns and will need to coordinate workload distribution collaboratively
