JOB DUTIES:

Direct and manage a wide variety of quantitative analyses, including leverage buyout models, discounted cash flow, multiple valuation analysis, merger and acquisition accretion/dilution analysis and credit analysis for client and investor presentations. Develop investment scenarios and corresponding presentation/prospectus material, coordinated marketing for public private securities offerings, valuation analysis, business plans, and financial projections. Leverage the Firms capital markets, proprietary research and analytical capabilities to provide top-notch investment, risk advisory, merger & acquisition and capital markets services. Monitor relevant transactions, capital market trends, company financial statements, industry, regulatory, and economic information, and other important assessments in the financial sector. Work directly with Executive Directors and Managing Directors in all facets of business, including marketing, transaction evaluation and transaction processing, as well as oversee and mentor lower-level subordinates consisting of Analysts and Associates within the Investment Banking sector.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Requires a Masters degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field, plus two (2) years of financial management or related analysis experience within the investment banking or finance industry, including experience in executing capital markets and M&A transactions; performing financial research and analysis; debt and equity offerings; debt and equity transactions; monitoring relevant transactions and market conditions; creating client-specific financial models; building and maintaining client relationships; and managing or supervising junior level staff or team members within the investment banking sector.

Alternatively, will accept a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field, plus five (5) years of financial management or related analysis experience within the investment banking or finance industry, including experience in executing capital markets and M&A transactions; performing financial research and analysis; debt and equity offerings; debt and equity transactions; monitoring relevant transactions and market conditions; creating client-specific financial models; building and maintaining client relationships; and managing or supervising junior level staff or team members within the investment banking sector.

*Specific skills: Also requires experience or knowledge in the following: 1) Knowledge of capital markets (public and private); 2) Knowledge of S&P Capital IQ, Bloomberg and FactSet; 3) Experience using Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word; 4) Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement accounts; and 5) Experience creating client and pitch presentations including marketing materials.

*Any level of experience or knowledge in the specific skills is acceptable.

Must have SIE, and Series 7, 79 and 63 licenses.

The salary for this position is expected to be $250,000 per year. Base pay is based on market location & may vary based on experience, skills, education & other job-related reasons.
