Meet the Team

We are building a world class systematic data platform which will power next generation of our systematic portfolio engines.

We are looking for a core software engineer that will work for our Systematic Data Platform group. The hire will be responsible for expanding and optimizing the architecture of our data platform and data tools, as well as building data related application for cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer who enjoys optimizing data systems and building them from the ground up.

What You'll Do

  • Create &maintain optimal data platform architecture and implementation, build data applications & tools to help data onboarding, and provide actionable insights into data discovery / permissioning, operational efficiency & other key business metrics.

  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements by automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability and availability, etc.

  • Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources.

  • Work with stakeholders from both the business and technology to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.

  • Create data and analytical tools for internal customers that assist them in building and optimizing our data organization into an innovative industry leader.

  • Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years' working experience with Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative field.

  • Experience with object-oriented/object-function languages: Python, Java, Scala, etc.

  • Strong algorithms and data structures

  • Experience with databases e.g. SQL Server, Oracle, Redshift, BigQuery, SnowFlake.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Can work independently and in a collaborative environment.

  • Can handle several projects with different priorities at the same time in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent self-management and problem-solving skills.
