DUTIES:

         Help to manage the plannning and the coordination of the Data Engineering Team

         Support the coordination of the activities with Suppliers

         Support troubleshooting and performance tuning

         Actively participate to meetings and produce minutes, send reminders to activity owners

         Understand and contribute to define solutions to satisfy the requirements, requests, and needs of Data Management & Analytics Team

         Support the design of data solutions, defining effort, costs, governance and compliance with Data Management Policy and Privacy regulation

         Support to define, develop, test and release ETLs, Data Integration, jobs and procedures of data updates of the local DWH and Datamarts

         Document all new developments or changes, making the documentation available in the defined repository

         Interfacing and collaborating with various stakeholders and suppliers

         Ensure development cycle complies with project phases, and all stakeholders are updated

         Collaborate with other Depts to ensure information accessibility and data quality

         Contribute to the analysis of business processes that generate data acquisition, identifying any critical issues and areas for improvement

         Promptly report any actual or potential data risks, such as breaches, quality impacts, loss of relevant info, data viz displaying misleading info etc.

KEY SKILL AREAS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

         Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

         Deep Azure services knowledge including compute, networking, storage and databases

         Good ability to manage Azure DevOps and CI/CD

         Proficiency in Azure Synapse and Databriks

         Strong knowledge of advanced scripting in Powershell, Python and Bash

         Good knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, in particular PowerBI

         Basics of Microsoft PowerAutomate

         Proficiency in SQL in its various versions

         Strong knowledge of databases

         Good knowledge of SQL Server

         Understanding and ability to manage ETLs

         Good knowledge of Data modeling and Architectures

         Good understanding of Big Data context and technologies

         Basic Security skills
