- 8+ years of experience interpreting and applying derivatives regulations in a relevant capacity (e.g., Legal, Compliance, Regulatory Reporting) within the banking or financial services sector
- Proven ability to assess reporting requirements across a wide range of products and asset classes, with experience in commodities and/or exchange traded derivatives (e.g. futures) considered beneficial
- Strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills, with the capability to work closely with global teams to evaluate how specific regulations apply to new or existing business activities
- An understanding of how derivatives transactions are documented, and an ability to elucidate terms of derivative contracts based on confirmations and definitions would be an advantage
- Demonstrated track record of driving consistent regulatory related change across global businesses, with high achievement drive, resilience and tenacity
- Innovative and collaborative mindset, with strong relationship building skills, a commitment to integrity, and a focus on maintaining productive connections across teams, business partners, operations, and industry networks
- Curiosity and willingness to continuously learn, including building knowledge of diverse global reporting rulesets and evolving reportable activities.
