As an apprentice, you will join one of our flagship trading services LCH SA, a leading global clearing house providing clearing services to international clients.
Eligibility
To be eligible, you should be either on track to enter a master's degree in 2026 or currently enrolled in a master's degree in an engineering subject i.e. computing, computer science, mathematics with an inclination towards finance.
Please note that the duration of the apprenticeship will vary from 1 year to 2 years, depending on whether you are a Master 1 or Master 2 student.
We will work with you during the recruitment process to understand your strengths and interests to determine the right pathway for you. Depending on your placement, you may join our FLR (First Line Risk) or SLR (Second Line Risk) teams.
Front Line Risk
Implementing Python tools for the estimation of risk parameters used in margin calculations, including:
Daily monitoring of parameter evolution
Automated analysis of parameter movements
Impact analysis of parameter changes
Producing reporting on results
Automating data loading processes (static and dynamic datasets)
Contributing to continuous process improvement
Second Line Risk
Margin and stress testing replication library
Margin model back testing documentation and enhancements
Statistical back-testing annual model validation
Reverse stress testing framework enhancements
What We are Looking For
We are passionate about recruiting people who want to understand the full breadth of our organization, how it fits together, how it functions and are interested in playing a part of our development, as it grows and diversifies.
A demonstrable interest in financial markets and the banking sector, developed through your studies, work experience or extracurricular activities, with a particular curiosity about financial risk and how markets operate.
Some understand and an interest in gaining exposure to databases, VBA or SQL
Demonstrated experience in Python as the preferred language during your apprenticeship
You will need to show excellent French and English written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other technology tools, and have an interest in learning financial data tools
Being able to see the bigger picture and make connections between different things is a great skill to have.
Our teams work quickly and things can change fast, so youll need to show you can focus, bounce back from setbacks, and roll with whatever comes your way.

Recruitment Process:
The first stage of the recruitment process involves making an application and submitting your resume.
The next stage of the application process is an untimed Immersive Online Assessment. The assessment is designed to give you an insight into what its like to work at LSEG
The second stage is a video interview where you will answer a series of questions using a strength-based-interview style
The final stage is a half day assessment centre which involves several different types of exercises further information is provided at the point of invite.

Suivi quotidien de lvolution des paramtres
Analyse automatise des mouvements des paramtres
Analyse dimpact des modifications des paramtres
Automatisation des processus de chargement de donnes (jeux de donnes statiques et dynamiques)
Contribution lamlioration continue des processus
Second Line Risk
Bibliothque de rplication des marges et des tests de rsistance
Documentation et amlioration du back-testing des modles de marges
Validation annuelle du modle par back-testing statistique
Amliorations du cadre de reverse stress testing
