Financial Risk Management Location: Gurgaon Entity: GIE AXA Direction: Group Risk Management Financial Risk Management Job Name: Financial Risk Analyst Report to: VP Group Services AXA XL & Head of Transformation and Financial reporting / Group Risk Management in AXA GIE Primary mission You will participate in the financial risk reporting processes carried at Group level. In addition, you will have the opportunity to collaborate in the evolution of the financial risks processes and tools, being involved in the design and testing of new features for simplifying processes and bringing new analytical capabilities to FRM community. Role Overview: You will join the Financial Risk Management team within AXA Groups central functions. The teams main mission is to monitor and manage the financial risks borne by AXA and its subsidiaries, with a focus on the production and continuous enhancement of financial risk indicators. In this role you will have a dual impact: Secure reliable reporting: participate in the production of financial risk indicators and the related reporting processes. Drive transformation: contribute to the design, testing and documentation of new tools and processes that improve the financial risk management. This combination offers both hands-on exposure to Group-level financial risk reporting and active involvement in transformational initiatives. Key Responsibilities Financial Risk Reporting Calculate AXAs financial risk indicators. Maintain relationships with Group and local stakeholders who provide data for consolidation and production of risk indicators. Assist risk analysts in understanding the results of regular reports and in producing ad-hoc analyses upon request. Perform data quality controls to ensure the reliability and consistency of reporting. Contribute to the automation of reporting processes and controls. Support to Local Business Units Help local teams resolve issues related to financial risk reporting processes. Produce comprehensive documentation to support understanding and effective use of Group tools and frameworks. Assist local entities in adopting and using new tools. Transformation of Processes and Tools Participate in the evolution of financial risk processes and tools, from design to testing of new features. Assist in defining business specifications for IT developments. Contribute to the simplification of existing processes and the enhancement of analytical capabilities. Conduct testing for technical developments and ensure that results are robust and well documented. Develop and maintain clear, structured documentation for tools, processes and frameworks. Ensure that financial risk management frameworks remain up to date in the tools used by the team and local entities. Candidate Profile Technical and professional skills: Bachelor or higher Degree (e.g., Risk Management, Actuarial, Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering or equivalent disciplines). At least 3 years of working experience, preferably in risk management or investment management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Fluency in English. Relevant risk management certifications (e.g., FRM, CFA) are a plus. Coding capabilities are an asset. Soft skills: High reliability, with strong focus on quality and timeliness of deliverables. Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent writing and communication skills, including the ability to produce clear documentation and deliver presentations. Strong interest in working in an international and intercultural environment. Curiosity and appetite for investigating issues to identify root causes.
