As an apprentice, you will join one of our flagship trading services LCH SA, a leading global clearing house providing clearing services to international clients.
Eligibility
To be eligible, you should be currently studying for a masters degree in finance, risk management, audit, compliance, economics, business or a related field.
The duration of the apprenticeship will vary from 1 year to 2 years depending on your programme.
What you will do
We have a number of teams looking for an apprentice and, depending on your placement, you may join one of the following business areas:
First Line Resilience
Daily operational risk monitoring (reports, dashboards, meeting minutes).
Participating to the implementation of Operational Resilience-related frameworks (TPRM, BC, etc) within LoD1 and coordinates transversal activities
Contributing to analyses related to Operational Resilience risks (Business Continuity risk, Third Party risk, etc)
Participating in Business Impact Analyses (BIA), Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and walkthrough exercises.
Preparing materials for committees and governance forums.
Ensuring alignment with internal risk policies and Group standards.
Second Line Risk
Supporting the Risk team in incident analysis and followup.
Operational risk oversight and monitoring (reports, dashboards, meeting minutes)
Contributing to maintenance of the operational risk information system (action creation and monitoring) and methodology
Supporting the Crisis Coordinator (exercise preparation, minutes, action tracking).
Participating in Business Impact Analyses (BIA), Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and walkthrough exercises.
Supporting default management simulations and transversal coordination activities.
Preparing materials for committees and governance forums.
Ensuring alignment with internal risk policies and Group standards.
Contribute to the 2LOD control plan execution (testing and deep dive) to assess control framework maturity.

You should be currently pursuing a masters degree in finance, economics, risk management, compliance, audit, business, or related field.
You will need to show excellent French and English written and verbal communication skills.
You should have a demonstrable interest in financial markets, operational risk, and resilience. A strong interest in risk topics, regulatory frameworks, or compliance is a real advantage.

Recruitment Process:
The first stage of the recruitment process involves making an application and submitting your resume.
The next stage of the application process is an untimed Immersive Online Assessment. The assessment is designed to give you an insight into what its like to work at LSEG
The second stage is a video interview where you will answer a series of questions using a strength-based-interview style
The final stage is a half day assessment centre which involves several different types of exercises further information is provided at the point of invite.

Contribution la maintenance du systme dinformation sur le risque oprationnel (cration et suivi des actions) et de la mthodologie.
Soutien au Coordinateur de crise (prparation des exercices, comptes rendus, suivi des actions).
Participation aux analyses dimpact sur lactivit (BIA), aux plans de continuit dactivit (BCP) et aux exercices pratiques.
Soutien aux simulations de gestion des dfauts et aux activits de coordination transversales.
Prparation de documents pour les comits et forums de gouvernance.
Veiller lalignement avec les politiques internes de gestion des risques et les standards du Groupe.
Contribuer lexcution du plan de contrle 2LOD (test et analyse approfondie) pour valuer la maturit du cadre de contrle.
