As an Associate within the Payment Client Service Account Management team, you own the day-to-day service experience for an assigned portfolio of clients. You are the primary point of contact, partnering with internal teams to resolve issues, coordinate solutions, and deliver consistent follow-through. You build a strong understanding of each clients organization, priorities, and operating model to anticipate needs and add value. You help protect clients and our organization through strong risk awareness and adherence to established policies and procedures. Youll work in a fast-paced environment where clear communication, accountability, and continuous improvement matter.
Our team supports clients using operating transaction accounts and treasury solutions, including complex setups that may span multiple regions and time zones. Youll collaborate closely with sales, product, operations, and control partners to resolve service needs and improve the end-to-end client journey.
Job responsibilities
- Own client service delivery for an assigned portfolio, acting as the primary point of contact across channels (phone, email, and in-person)
- Build trusted relationships with clients by setting a clear cadence, following through on commitments, and communicating proactively
- Identify recurring issues and themes, escalate when appropriate, and drive timely resolution for complex requests
- Partner with internal teams to coordinate solutions, remove blockers, and improve the overall client experience
- Apply strong risk awareness by following policies and procedures, documenting actions appropriately, and raising concerns promptly
- Learn treasury and transaction products quickly and use that knowledge to guide clients to effective service outcomes
- Investigate root causes of process inefficiencies and propose practical improvements to reduce friction and increase reliability
- Use data to create simple metrics and reporting that help track service quality, trends, and outcomes
- Manage competing priorities effectively while maintaining a high standard of service across all clients
- Contribute to team initiatives beyond your core portfolio and share knowledge to help peers succeed
- Mentor and support teammates by sharing best practices, templates, and insights from client patterns
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- At least 3 years of experience in client servicing and/or cash management experience within the financial services industry
- Ability to manage a portfolio of clients and deliver consistent, high-quality service across multiple concurrent needs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with clients and partners
- Fluency in Korean and English is required to interact with regional teams and clients in Korea
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to build credibility and influence across cross-functional partners, including senior stakeholders
- Ability to identify problems, assess impact, and drive issue resolution through collaboration and escalation when needed
- Ability to use data to create metrics and reporting that inform decisions and improve outcomes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Demonstrated ownership mindset, including urgency, follow-through, and proactive communication
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience supporting treasury management, transaction banking, or complex client onboarding/service requests
- Experience supporting clients with multi-region or cross-border service needs
- Familiarity with process improvement methods (for example, Lean or Six Sigma) and applying them to service workflows
- Experience creating client-facing reporting or service performance dashboards
- Interest in mentoring, coaching, or leading small team initiatives to improve service delivery
