Work in a collaborative Middle Office risk team that protects clients and the firm through disciplined controls and proactive issue management. Build deep asset servicing expertise while partnering across Operations, Product, Legal, Compliance, and client-facing teams.
As an Asset Servicing Risk Analyst within Custody Asset Services Middle Office, you manage operational risk associated with voluntary corporate action events across global markets. You support client and operational teams through instruction and inquiry management while partnering to resolve control and service delivery issues. You maintain a strong control environment by completing daily checks, contributing to team projects, and delivering positive client experience.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Identify and manage operational risks for voluntary corporate action events.
  • Provide instruction management support to clients and operational support teams.
  • Support global client-facing Middle Office teams with inquiry management for voluntary corporate actions.
  • Partner with core Operations and Middle Office teams to resolve control and service delivery issues.
  • Execute daily control checks and ensure completion within defined timelines.
  • Diagnose issues and drive timely resolution using structured problem-solving.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior business executives, on risks and outcomes.
  • Document actions, decisions, and exceptions to maintain audit-ready evidence trails.
  • Participate actively in team huddles to align on priorities, risks, and escalations.
  • Contribute to departmental projects that improve controls, efficiency, and client experience.
  • Leverage Excel and user tools to analyze trends, track issues, and support reporting.
  • Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills 

  • Hold a bachelors degree.
  • Demonstrate understanding of equity and fixed income instruments.
  • Apply technical knowledge of corporate actions to identify and remediate risk.
  • Exhibit logical and analytical problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and drive remediation.
  • Communicate clearly in written and verbal formats and build relationships across stakeholders.
  • Work independently under pressure while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Operate proficiently in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Leverage experience supporting Asset Services or Global Custody operations.
