Job Description

The role:

The Associate Product Manager supports a suite of fixed income investment strategies, with a focus on delivering high-quality sales and marketing materials, reporting, and product content to drive business development. This role partners closely with product managers, client portfolio managers (CPMs), and cross-functional stakeholders to manage month- and quarter-end deliverables, ensure data accuracy, and support ongoing product initiatives and ad hoc requests. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of investment markets and serves as a credible resource from both an analytical and business perspective. Success in this role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities of the role:

  • Manage month- and quarter-end product collateral updates, including quarterly presentations, factsheets, commentaries, infographics, annual reports, and risk/performance attribution reporting
  • Produce and maintain accurate, high-quality product content, ensuring alignment with approved messaging, data, and disclosures
  • Partner cross-functionally with portfolio management, marketing, legal, and finance teams to coordinate deliverables and timelines
  • Serve as a key liaison for RFP/RFI responses and consultant database updates, supporting business development efforts
  • Support regulatory and governance requirements, including preparation of fund board materials
  • Build deep product and market knowledge through ongoing collaboration with portfolio managers and CPMs
  • Support distribution efforts by delivering insights, analysis, and timely responses to internal sales teams and client requests
  • Analyze competitive landscape and industry trends (e.g., Lipper, Morningstar, eVestment) to inform product positioning and go-to-market strategy

Requirements of the role:

  • 24 years of experience in financial services, preferably within fixed income asset management
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, innovation, and driving change
  • Strong drive for results with a commitment to excellence
  • Solid technical foundation, including investment acumen and understanding of financial markets and macroeconomic trends
  • Proficiency with Bloomberg, Microsoft Office, Morningstar, AI tools, and other analytics platforms
  • Passion for capital markets and the asset management industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal capabilities
  • Bachelors degree required; Series 7 & 63 licenses required or willingness to obtain

The total compensation offered for this position, which includes salary and incentive pay, will vary based on skills, experience and location. The salary range for this position in New York City is $100,000 to $116,000 annually.
