Full Job Description

At ING, our broker partnerships are fundamental to helping customers achieve their home ownership goals. As a Broker Compliance & Partnership Specialist (internally known as Customer Journey Expert - Partnerships), you'll play a critical role in supporting and strengthening our broker network by ensuring the highest standards of compliance, governance and partner engagement.

This is a unique opportunity to combine relationship management with risk and compliance expertise. You'll work closely with brokers, aggregators and internal stakeholders to create trusted partnerships, manage accreditation and governance requirements, mitigate risk, and drive continuous improvement across the broker experience.

Success in this role requires a balanced approachsomeone who can build strong relationships while maintaining a sharp focus on regulatory obligations, customer outcomes and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the onboarding, accreditation, review and offboarding of broker and aggregator partners.

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with broker businesses, compliance teams and key industry stakeholders.

  • Monitor compliance obligations, identify emerging risks and support the resolution of compliance, conduct and operational issues.

  • Manage partner agreements, contractual documentation and governance requirements to ensure ongoing regulatory alignment.

  • Drive process improvements and initiatives that enhance broker experience, strengthen controls and deliver better business outcomes.


What We're Looking For

  • Experience within banking, financial services, lending, broker distribution, risk or compliance environments.

  • Proven understanding of regulatory, compliance and governance frameworks, with the ability to apply them pragmatically.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence, challenge and build credibility across all levels.

  • Proven ability to balance commercial objectives with risk management and customer outcomes.

  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
