**HSBC Event & Sponsorship Manager** **Role Overview:** The Event & Sponsorship Manager is responsible for driving HSBC's sponsorship and events strategy in the region, fostering new business opportunities, and enhancing brand visibility. We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager/Assistant Vice President, Events.
This role is responsible for creating the Marketing sponsorship and events plan, strategy and framework for delivery of all events, third party sponsorships and the coordination of locally deployed activity. The role holder will acquire, establish, and manage relationships with key partners to enable the acquisition of affluent customers thru events. He/She will also provide support to branches by creating templated event executions that the branches can refer to/make use of to drum up activities for the branch to help book NTB or ETB deepening. He/She will manage a centralized view and schedule of various types of engagement and events that fit the needs of our Premier customer. The role holder must ensure that the partnerships will result to meaningful execution of customer events with the goal of growing new customers and increasing activity for the existing customers, focusing on the Premier proposition.
In this role, you will:
- Work with Partnerships team and channels to grow new customers and generate incremental customer activity as a direct result of events and partnerships catering to IWPB target market.
- Plan, implement, and manage effective and cost-efficient partner-related and branch events for IWPB
- Closely monitor progress of leads from leads generation to conversion
- LeadsHSBC's international sponsorship and events strategy for Marketing and develops the regional/local portfolio
- Act as the main liaison point for the Global Business Lines in the generation of new business opportunities, through the HSBC sponsorship and events portfolio
- Provide internal counsel for all markets and business units to utilize sponsorship and events, achieving regional/local business and brand objectives
- Ensure sponsorship and events activities reflect the vision and values of HSBC and align with the brand strategy
- Strengthen brand visibility in all partner events.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- University graduate
- At least 5 to 10 years of experience in partner negotiations and relationship management.
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band level than stated above.
