Shape and deliver high-impact client experiences through distinctive, high-touch events. You will own end-to-end event strategy and execution, with real responsibility and visibility. You will partner closely with a tight-knit team where proactive collaboration and shared ownership drive success. Evening work and frequent travel is required.

As a Client Events Manager in the Client Events Team, you will lead a portfolio of local and regional client events and, at times, contribute to larger global programs. You will bring strong Asia market knowledge and operational excellence to design experiences that are on-brand, culturally attuned, and flawlessly delivered. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and teammates, staying composed under pressure while managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.

Job responsibilities

  • Partner with the Head of Events and senior team members to develop an events strategy aligned to business goals
  • Design and execute high-touch client events consistent with brand standards
  • Apply deep Asia knowledge of cities, venues, and trends to recommend formats, locations, experiences, and cultural nuances
  • Manage end-to-end operations including calendars, budgets, vendor negotiation, contracts, invoices, and risk/process compliance
  • Oversee onsite delivery including speaker and VIP guest management, vendor coordination, registration, and audio-visual/presentation needs
  • Run event communications via the events platform (invitations, microsites, reminders, post-event follow-ups)
  • Provide concise updates in team forums and support special projects as needed
  • Travel across the Asia region as required to provide on-site support at events

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in event management
  • Demonstrated strength in strategy, problem solving, and creative event solutions
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end event delivery (planning, logistics, and onsite execution)
  • Experience managing budgets, vendor negotiation, contracts, and invoices
  • Ability to manage risk/process compliance as part of event delivery
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and event management platforms
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Comfort liaising with senior leadership and delivering against tight deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize concurrent projects and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and travel frequently across Asia

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Financial services experience
  • Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is required, as the Asia PB events team regularly liaises with local vendors and drafts / reviews client communications (e.g. invitations) in Chinese.
Lead end-to-end strategy and delivery of high-touch client events, from planning through onsite execution.
