We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Investment Counsellor

In this role you will:

Responsible for the positioning and delivery of portfolio oriented investment solutions to clients and prospects of the HSBC Private Bank.

Accountable for assessing client need, developing and communicating a comprehensive portfolio investment strategy, coordinating advice and execution against that strategy, and monitoring performance and appropriateness of the clients overall investment portfolio against pre-agreed risk profile.

Monitor client portfolios for performance, appropriateness and opportunity. Provide updates on investment opportunities to clients, prospects and Relationship Managers.

To be successful you will need:

Extensive knowledge of private banking business, competitive and regulatory environment, solid portfolio advisory skills and experience.

Client-focused, with strong sales, analytic, technical, teamwork and relationship building skills.

Holder of Hong Kong Monetary Authority and Securities Futures Commission Type 1 and 4, Chartered Financial Analyst or other related qualifications preferred.
