We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President, Health Pricing and Portfolio Management.

In this role you will:

  • Lead the pricing review for Integrated Shield Plans, Individual Health and Employee Benefits products. Ensure compliance requirements are met and accurate system implementation.
  • Assist management in achieving business goals through financial assessments and efficient pricing strategies.
  • Provide monitoring updates on business performance and profitability trends to senior stakeholders. This includes inflation studies, actual vs expected studies for all products, understanding the key profitability/loss drivers and providing recommendations.
  • Manage data for pricing, analytical and monitoring purposes.
  • Ownership of the Employee Benefits pricing tool with the objective of continuously improving it in terms of technical accuracy and efficiency.

To be successful you will need:

  • A strong sense of initiative, with the ability to learn independently and solve problems analytically.
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Experience with data analytics.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate, plan, and influence outcomes across functions.
  • A university graduate in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with Emblem, Excel VBA, SQL and/or Python is a bonus.
