We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Manager, Actuarial Services.

In this role you will:

  • Be part of Par & Universal Life Fund Management and Experience Studies team.
  • Be responsible for supporting experience monitoring, assumption setting, and Universal Life fund management.
  • Support the monthly and quarterly delivery of management information for internal stakeholders.
  • Support in ad-hoc actuarial projects and enhancement project of existing processes.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the assigned tasks.
  • Maintain documentation as per HSBC guidelines.

To be successful you will need:

  • University graduate in a relevant discipline in Actuarial Studies, with good progress in actuarial exams of an international recognized actuarial body.
  • Relevant Actuarial experience, candidate with less experience will be considered for Associate position.
  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work independently, interact with other departments
  • Good technical, analytical and problem solving skills; Experience in SQL/Python and/or Prophet is a plus.
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills and positive attitude.
