About the role:
 
Reporting to General Supervisor, Mine Operations, the Supervisor Services, Mine Operations will be responsible for pit pumping, bucket maintenance as well as optimizing the day to day operation of the Mine Services personnel.
 
To be successful, we are looking for someone with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills who is organized and can manage competing demands. An excellent attitude toward safety is vital in this role.

In this role you will:

  • Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
  • Promote a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with EVRs Health, Safety and Environmental Programs and the BC Mines Act
  • Provide guidance and direction to all crew members under direct supervision
  • Manage the pumping activities for both pit dewatering and selenium initiatives
  • Oversee the bucket maintenance repairs on site
  • Other responsibilities as required or as assigned 

Requirements:

  • Possess a shift boss ticket 
  • Have a minimum of two years of open pit mining and supervisory experience 
  • Basic computer skills 
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License or equivalent
Salary Range: $123000.00 - $145000.00

The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidates relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
