The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Treasury Cash Operations Manager to lead and optimize end-to-end treasury operations for global clients. This role offers an opportunity to operate at the intersection of treasury cash operations, transformation, and digital enablement, driving scalable, efficient, and controlled financial processes.

As a Treasury Cash Operations Manager is responsible for managing the clients daily cash operations, liquidity planning, banking relationships, and treasury processes. In a consulting environment, this role ensures efficient cash flow management to support project execution, vendor payments, and global operations while maintaining strong financial controls and compliance.

Your Key Responsibilities

Cash & Liquidity Management

  • Oversee daily cash position across multiple bank accounts and geographies
  • Manage short-term liquidity planning and forecasting
  • Optimize cash utilization and minimize idle balances
  • Monitor inflows from clients and outflows such as payroll, vendor payments, and project-related expenses

 

Treasury Operations

  • Manage execution of payments (domestic & international) including wire transfers and ACH
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all treasury transactions
  • Supervise bank account management including openings, closures, and signatory updates
  • Maintain treasury systems and ensure operational efficiency

 

Forecasting & Reporting

  • Prepare rolling cash flow forecasts (weekly, monthly)
  • Monitor variance between forecasted and actual cash positions
  • Generate treasury reports for senior leadership
  • Provide insights to optimize working capital

 

Banking & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for banking partners
  • Negotiate banking fees, services, and credit facilities
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, AP/AR, FP&A, Tax) to align cash requirements

 

Process Improvement & Transformation

  • Drive automation and digitization of treasury processes
  • Improve efficiency through treasury management systems (TMS)
  • Support transformation initiatives in cash and liquidity management

 

Skills and attributes for success

  • CA or bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 812 years of experience in treasury, cash operations, or corporate finance
  • Experience in consulting firms, professional services, or multinational environments preferred
  • Strong understanding of cash management, banking systems, and financial controls
  • Working Experience in at least one leading Treasury management system (TMS)
