Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment, technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The Opportunity

 

We are seeking a skilled Treasury Cash Operations Senior to support the execution and optimization of end-to-end treasury operations for global clients. This role focuses on hands-on cash management, payment execution, reporting, and supporting transformation initiatives.

 

You will work closely with Managers and client stakeholders to ensure efficient cash operations, accurate reporting, and compliance with controls in a dynamic consulting environment.

 

 

Your Key Responsibilities

 

Cash & Liquidity Management

• Support daily cash position tracking across bank accounts and geographies
• Assist in short-term cash flow forecasting and liquidity analysis
• Monitor client inflows (receivables) and outflows (payments, payroll, vendors)
• Identify and escalate cash gaps or funding requirements

 

Treasury Operations

• Execute domestic and international payments (wire, ACH, etc.)
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of treasury transactions
• Support bank account management activities (documentation, updates, tracking)
• Maintain treasury systems and ensure data accuracy

 

Forecasting & Reporting

• Prepare periodic cash flow forecasts (weekly/monthly)
• Track actual vs forecast variances and highlight key drivers
• Generate standard treasury reports for internal and client stakeholders
• Support working capital analysis

 

Banking & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with banking partners for operational queries
• Work with internal teams (AP, AR, FP&A, Tax) to support cash requirements
• Escalate issues related to payments, liquidity, or bank operations

 

Process Improvement & Transformation

• Support automation and process improvement initiatives
• Assist in implementing treasury management systems (TMS) enhancements
• Identify operational inefficiencies and suggest improvements
• Demonstrate a good understanding of accounting concepts; stay informed of professional standards and firm policies (e.g., guidelines of the EY GDS FAAS Policy Manual); and effectively apply this knowledge to moderately difficult and/or complex client situations
• Receive direction from the Manager, Senior Managers.

 

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

• CA / bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
• 47 years of relevant experience in treasury, cash operations, or finance
• Experience in consulting, shared services, or multinational environments preferred
• Basic understanding of treasury processes and banking systems
• Working Experience in at least one leading Treasury management system (TMS)
