Location: Vilnius, Lithuania

You will join the Control Testing Team in Group Compliance a team of 25 professional colleagues based across Denmark, Finland, Poland and Lithuania.
As an integrated part of Group Compliance, we contribute to Danske Banks strategy of becoming the most trusted financial partner. We do so by acting with integrity, delivering expertise, focusing on value creation and progressing through agility.
You will play a key role in enhancing our control environment and supporting stakeholders across the Group.
This position could be located in Vilnius, Lithuania or Warsaw, Poland. Danske Bank supports a high degree of workplace flexibility (our team is currently using a hybrid working model, where we work at least 3 days a week in the office.).
Your main responsibilities will include:
Testing the design and operational effectiveness of controls against Group Policy requirements, as well as external regulatory requirements and expectations
Performing ad hoc and substantive tests based on emerging risks and stakeholder needs
Our annual plan is risk driven and utilizes various information and datapoint such as RCSAs and consists of a wide range of testing activities across Financial Crime and Regulatory Compliance risk types, offering a versatile workday with varied tasks.
More specifically, you will:
Support stakeholders in the ongoing development and improvement of RCSAs
Test the design and operational effectiveness of controls, and report and document your results in a clear, actionable way
Ensure alignment and agreement with stakeholders regarding findings and reports
Collaborate with stakeholders on the mitigation and closure of compliance issues
Navigate a complex organisational setup, engaging with colleagues across multiple teams
Work on fast-paced projects, balancing business needs and tight deadlines with accuracy, attention to detail and analytical thinking
About you:
You are analytical, structured and comfortable engaging with stakeholders at different levels of the organisation. You are motivated by improving control environments and contributing to a strong compliance culture.
We imagine that you have:
3+ years of experience with control testing or control execution within the financial sector
Strong understanding of risk and control concepts
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Fluency in English, both spoken and written
A collaborative mindset and strong team ethic
