Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Credit Maintenance Intermediate Analyst to join our Credit Operations team in Mexico City. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and governance of credit exposure data across multiple systems, directly supporting risk management and business decision-making across LATAM.

This position offers strong exposure to credit risk processes, collaboration with Relationship Managers, and opportunities to develop within a global banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update credit exposure, obligor, and facility data across core credit systems, ensuring high levels of accuracy and data integrity
  • Partner with Relationship Managers (RMs) and internal stakeholders to process credit requests and resolve data or system discrepancies
  • Review incoming credit applications to ensure completeness, policy compliance, and timely system booking
  • Monitor daily credit limits vs. exposure, identify exceptions, and escalate issues in line with internal policies
  • Support the maintenance of controls, documentation, and insurance records, ensuring timely tracking and renewals
  • Identify trends or inconsistencies in processes and proactively recommend improvements
  • Contribute to portfolio monitoring activities, applying sound judgment when interpreting credit data
  • Ensure adherence to risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements, maintaining strong governance standards

Qualifications & Experience

  • Effective communication skills in English (oral and writing)
  • 25 years of experience in credit operations, risk, banking operations, or financial services
  • Familiarity with credit processes, lending products, or exposure monitoring is highly valued
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work on public holidays, due to regional LATAM coverage.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and validate financial/credit data
  • Experience working with data systems or reporting tools (Excel proficiency required; other tools a plus)
  • High level of attention to detail, organization, and accountability
