Full Job Description
**Role Objective**
The Deal Acceleration Analyst is responsible for managing end-to-end deal acceleration operations to enable timely deal closure, improve pipeline velocity, and support revenue realization across the SME&C business.
This role serves as a central coordination point between sellers, stakeholders, and operational teams, ensuring accurate deal tracking, proactive follow-up, and structured governance across deal lifecycles.
**2. Scope of Services**
**2.1 Deal Intake & Lifecycle Management**
• Manage intake of:
? Deal Clinic submissions
? Walk-in deals and escalations
? Offline deal requests from sellers and coaches
• Create and maintain structured deal records, including:
? Deal summaries
? Business context and risks
? Defined asks for leadership review
• Ensure all deals are entered and maintained in designated systems (e.g., MSX, SharePoint trackers)
**2.2 Deal Tracking, Governance & Data Quality**
• Maintain a centralized deal tracking framework to ensure:
? Completeness and accuracy of deal information
? Standardization of inputs across deals
• Enforce governance standards for:
? Documentation quality
? Data consistency
? Ownership tagging and accountability
• Validate deal readiness for review and escalation
**2.3 Stakeholder Coordination & Query Management**
• Act as the primary coordination interface between:
? Sellers
? Deal coaches
? Microsoft stakeholders (including Director-level)
• Monitor deal-related communications channels and:
? Proactively follow up on pending items
? Route queries to the appropriate SMEs
? Ensure closure of stakeholder requests within defined timelines
**2.4 Deal Clinic Operations Management**
• Plan, manage, and support Deal Clinic operations across Operating Units and Solution Areas
• Responsibilities include:
? Agenda creation and updates
? Managing deal submissions and walk-ins
? Coordinating stakeholders for discussions
? Driving post-clinic follow-ups and action items
**2.5 Ad-hoc Deal Support & Escalation Handling**
• Support urgent and non-standard deal scenarios by:
? Gathering and reconstructing deal data across systems
? Driving resolution through appropriate stakeholder engagement
• Provide ongoing support for high-priority deal escalations impacting revenue timelines
**2.6 Process & SOP Development**
• Develop and maintain:
? Deal Acceleration Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
? Process documentation and workflows
• Identify opportunities for:
? Process standardization
? Efficiency improvements
• Continuously refine intake, tracking, and reporting frameworks
**2.7 Reporting & Program Governance Support**
• Support leadership with:
? Consolidated deal status reporting
? Weekly / periodic progress updates
? Tracking of action items across multiple deal streams
• Enable improved visibility into pipeline status and operational health
**3. Deliverables**
The Deal Acceleration Analyst will deliver:
• Maintained and up-to-date deal tracking repository
• Weekly / periodic deal status reports
• Deal summaries with clear asks and next steps
• Deal Clinic agendas and follow-up documentation
• SOP and process documentation artifacts
• Ad-hoc escalation tracking and resolution logs
**4. Service Levels / Performance Expectations**
• Timely intake and logging of all deal requests
• High accuracy and completeness of deal documentation
• Defined turnaround for stakeholder queries and escalations
• Consistent adherence to governance and tracking standards
• Proactive follow-up to minimize deal delays
**5. Required Skills & Competencies**
• Strong stakeholder communication (including senior leadership interaction)
