Job Description:

Job Purpose: Provide an overall supervision of all bp customs processes, operational support for customs controls and other situations requiring customs expertise. Protect the bp interest and secure the bps compliance about customs regulation.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure compliance with customs obligations.
  • Answer all customs questions concerning supply and provisioning activities and concerning the movement of energy products (import, export, delivery, community and national shipping) for the Fuel, Air bp activities and bp affiliates.
  • Answer all customs questions regarding air refueling activities.
  • Perform all customs operation for Fuel and Air bp activities (declaration etc)
  • Management of customs requests related to our customers partial/total exemptions, justification (obligation according to Article 65).
  • Manage relations with customs and with DGDDI.
  • Set up and update of bp Customs statutes (authorized warehouse keepers, registered consignee, specific fuel tax payer, etc.).
  • Manage customs guaranties.
  • Establish and update customs powers of attorney.
  • Coordinate and manage all pre-litigation and litigation processes of bp France activities.
  • Train internal teams on customs and excises subjects Represent bp to the NOIA Summary Decision Rights Job Holder Requirements (Minimum education, experience & capabilities)

  • Proven track record in the role.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Advanced customs regulation expertise in the petroleum products sector.
  • Expertise in excises
  • Self-motivated, proactive.
  • Excellent organizational skills - planning and organizing, efficiency, project management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build strong internal and external relationships,
  • Good communicator, writing skills, English language skills
  • Strong skills in the Pack Office utilization (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)
