Full Job Description

Provides advanced portfolio administration, data analysis, and operational risk support across the investment lifecycle, with responsibility for evaluating data integrity, resolving non routine issues, and advising portfolio managers, traders, and business partners on complex portfolio, market, and trade related matters.

IMG Service is a global team within Enterprise Investment Services (EIS), supporting critical investment operations and data activities across the investment lifecycle. In this role, you will work alongside portfolio managers, traders, and investment professionals while partnering with colleagues across multiple regions to solve complex portfolio, market, and trade-related challenges. You will gain broad exposure to investment operations, data analysis, operational risk management, and the fund ecosystem within a highly collaborative, globally connected team.

Core Responsibilities

1. Serve as a primary liaison between portfolio managers, traders, relationship managers, custodians, and internal partners to provide guidance across portfolio administration and data issues, determining appropriate escalation, resolution paths, and risk mitigation.
2. Leads daily ad-hoc portfolio administration and operational activities in accordance with defined procedures and objectives.
3. Perform analysis and reconciliation of investment and portfolio data inputs, including evaluating data trends, modeling impacts to portfolio positioning, and identifying potential data, valuation, or trade readiness risks requiring further action or control enhancements.
4. Supports the maintenance, delivery, and validation of investment, market, and portfolio data across systems.
5. Identify, investigate, and resolve data exceptions and operational issues through performing root cause analysis, assessing operational and portfolio risk implications, and recommending corrective actions or control improvements.
6. Builds and maintains foundational knowledge of investment products, trade lifecycle processes, and operational risk considerations relevant to supported functions.
7. Participate in the onboarding and administration of new portfolios, products, or market driven events by supporting requirements gathering, data validation, and testing activities.
8. Supports the development of dashboards, operational reports, and management information. Contributes to process documentation, standard operating procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control.
9. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years experience in the Financial Services industry or related experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
