Job Description:

Role Overview

This role sits within APAC Equity Operations and supports the end-to-end post-trade lifecycle for equity products across regional markets.

The Analyst will be responsible for timely and accurate trade processing, settlement, and reconciliation, while partnering closely with Front Office, clients, and external counterparties.

The role requires strong ownership of exception management, a risk and control mindset, and the ability to operate in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

Scope / Responsibilities

  • Manage booking, validation, and settlement of equity trades across APAC markets
  • Support trade matching and settlement processes (e.g., CTM)
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of all post-trade activities
  • Investigate and resolve trade breaks and settlement discrepancies, maintaining ownership through resolution
  • Escalate issues where required while adhering to risk and control standards
  • Partner with Front Office, Middle Office, brokers, and custodians to resolve trade-related issues
  • Respond to client and stakeholder queries across global regions
  • Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in equities operations or post-trade support
  • Strong knowledge of cash equities (required)
  • Familiarity with APAC settlement and clearing processes
  • Experience in an investment banking or custody environment preferred
  • Exposure to securities lending is advantageous
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage high-volume workflows with accuracy and urgency
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP; macros a plus)
  • Experience with Broadridge Gloss or similar systems preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
