Within Global Banking and Advisory (GLBA), the VIE will join the Structured / Specialized Middle Office (CLS) team, which supports Front Office teams, Operations, and control functions in the day-to-day monitoring of financing activities.
This position is designed as a junior development opportunity, enabling the candidate to progressively build an understanding of the banking environment, middle office processes, operational controls, and the coordination of internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Support Middle Office

• Participer au suivi quotidien des dossiers et aider la prparation des lments ncessaires aux revues oprationnelles. 
• Contribuer la coordination avec les quipes internes afin de faciliter la circulation de linformation et le suivi des demandes. 
• Aider la mise jour de donnes oprationnelles et au contrle de cohrence des informations disponibles dans les outils internes.

Contrles et qualit des donnes     

• Raliser des contrles de premier niveau sous supervision, identifier les carts simples et les escalader aux membres expriments de lquipe. 
• Contribuer lamlioration de la qualit des donnes, la documentation des anomalies et au suivi des plans de remdiation. 
• Participer la prparation de reportings, tableaux de suivi et indicateurs utiles au pilotage de lactivit.

Coordination et communication     

• Prparer des synthses claires pour faciliter le suivi des sujets en cours et la priorisation des actions. 
• Collaborer avec les Middle Officers, les Oprations, les quipes Front Office et les fonctions support dans un cadre dfini. 
• Dvelopper une communication professionnelle, structure et adapte un environnement international.

Amlioration continue     

• Contribuer des initiatives transverses, la formalisation de procdures et la simplification de certains suivis. 
• Participer lidentification dirritants oprationnels et proposer des pistes damlioration simples. 
• Soutenir lquipe dans la prparation daudits, revues internes ou demandes ponctuelles, selon le niveau dautonomie acquis.

Studies & experience:

• Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University wit a specialization in Finance

• A previous experience in Bank is required

The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Montreal is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 24 months.
