Responsibilities

The Business Intelligence (BI) department sits within Finance and plays a central role in transforming data into actionable insights across the organization. While Finance is its home base, BI operates transversally, partnering with all business functionssuch as Commerce, Operations and Remarketing to ensure consistent, reliable, and data-driven decision support.

The department is responsible for developing and maintaining data models, dashboards, and reporting frameworks that provide a single source of truth across the organization. At the same time, BI acts as a strategic enabler for all departments, translating complex data into clear insights tailored to different business needs. This transversal approach fosters cross-functional alignment, enhances transparency, and supports a culture of data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.

Resposabilities:

  • Analyze data sets to derive actionable insights, identify trends, and support decision-making processes. 
  • Understand the business and information needs of the organization, and translate this into analysis and reportings.
  • Support in problem-solving / root-cause analyses to realize entitys overarching goals.
  • Support the business on ad hoc analysis requriements and business case developments.
  • Support the business in understanding the evolution and impacts on key KPI's, targets etc. 
  • Provide actionable insights that can be easily interpreted by business owners and clients.
  • Develop tools to support the forecasting possibilities of important business initiatives. 
  • Support local key strategic initiatives together with other functions.
  • Assist in reporting key KPIs centrally.

A questionnaire will be provided to you in order to check your VIE (Socit Gnrale and Business France) eligibility. For an efficient analysis of your application, please make sure to truthfully answer all the questions.

Profile required

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:

  • Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance, Business, Data analyis or similar.

  • A previous experience in Data analysis or Finance would be appreciated

Language skills:

  • Fluent in English (B2-C1)

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights

  • Proficient command of MS Office

  • Experience with Power BI and SQL

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Taastrup is to begin on as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 24 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business Frances eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
