The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Facilities Engineering Manager to lead asset and facilities management activities across Shell's Mobility network in Singapore, covering fuel stations, convenience retail facilities, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

Reporting to the Network Delivery Manager, you will work closely with engineering, operations, marketing, and business stakeholders to ensure high standards of safety, reliability, operational performance, and customer experience across the network.

This role is ideal for an engineering professional with strong facilities management expertise, commercial awareness, and a passion for driving continuous improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of facilities and asset management programs across Shell's Mobility and EV charging network.

  • Ensure assets operate safely, reliably, and efficiently while meeting business and customer expectations.

  • Develop and execute maintenance, refurbishment, and improvement strategies that enhance operational performance and customer experience.

  • Manage and oversee external engineering, facilities management, and service delivery partners to achieve agreed performance outcomes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Marketing, Retail, and Business Development to support network growth and optimization initiatives.

  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in facilities management practices, processes, and technologies.

  • Support the expansion and development of Shell's EV charging infrastructure through sound engineering and operational practices.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, engineering, and regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor project and operational performance against agreed quality, schedule, cost, and business objectives.

  • Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise in facilities and asset management.

What We Are Looking For:

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Facilities Engineering, or a related discipline).

  • Significant experience in facilities management, asset management, engineering operations, or project delivery.

  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, maintenance strategies, and facilities management best practices.

  • Experience managing contractors, service providers, or engineering delivery partners.

  • Proven ability to develop and present business cases, operational plans, and improvement initiatives.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Experience working in customer-facing, retail, infrastructure, utilities, transportation, or energy-related environments is advantageous.

Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of Fuel system, electric vehicle charging infrastructure and e-mobility technologies.

  • Experience supporting large-scale, multi-site operations.

  • Familiarity with operational excellence, reliability, and continuous improvement methodologies.
