Meet the Team

Youll join a tight-knit Singapore office team that partners closely with other business units for operations. Day to day, youll work side by side with the Office Manager to shape the workplace experience, while collaborating with regional peers on standards, projects, and incident response. Youll have direct access to stakeholders, acting as their trusted point of contact for anything related to the physical environment, and youll interface regularly with building management, and vendors to keep the site running smoothly.

This is the senior facilities role on the ground in Singapore and the owner of the physical workplace. You will run day-to-day facilities operations end to end building services and maintenance, vendors and contracts, inspections and compliance, budget, and office support services and you will be the person the business calls when something breaks. You will work alongside the Singapore Office Manager on the workplace experience with real autonomy over how the Singapore site is run.

This role is based on site at our Singapore office in CapitaSpring. Because the office supports business-critical operations, the role carries planned after-hours and occasional weekend commitments principally for preventive maintenance, power shutdowns, and project works, which are scheduled in advance as well as participation in emergency response when incidents occur.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day facilities operations for the Singapore office, ensuring a resilient, well-run workplace in partnership with the Office Manager.

  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for building services and critical systems (e.g. ACMV, UPS, electrical, fire protection, security, plumbing, furniture, and comms rooms).

  • Act as first responder for facilities incidents in business-critical areas, coordinating triage, escalation, and timely service restoration while keeping stakeholders informed.

  • Coordinate critical works with landlord and vendors (e.g. electrical shutdowns, riser works), planning around trading hours to minimize business disruption.

  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure regulatory and fire safety compliance, monitor vendor performance, and drive follow-up actions to closure.

  • Own vendor and contract management end-to-end, including sourcing, negotiation, performance monitoring, renewals, and on-site supervision of contractors.

  • Manage the facilities operating budget, including planning, forecasting, purchase orders, invoice processing, and tracking expenditure against plan.

  • Support workplace health and safety, emergency preparedness, and business continuity, and deliver moves, projects, workplace initiatives, events, and documentation for the Singapore office.

What Youll Bring

  • Diploma/Degree in Facility Management, Building Services, Building Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • 810 years relevant corporate facilities management experience, ideally in financial services, trading, or other 24x7 business-critical environments.

  • Strong working knowledge of MEP systems (ACMV, UPS, electrical, fire protection, security/access control, BMS) and hands-on facilities maintenance in Singapore, with practical understanding of local regulatory and fire safety requirements.

  • Proven experience in contractor supervision and end-to-end vendor/contract management, including budgeting, purchase orders, and contract negotiation.

  • Able to interpret building services drawings and maintenance documentation, with an analytical, problem-solving, well-organized and detail-oriented approach.

  • Clear, credible communicator (written and verbal) with a strong service mindset; able to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels and handle confidential, commercially sensitive information discreetly.

  • Willing and able to support planned after-hours and weekend work (e.g. preventive maintenance, power shutdowns, project work) and to participate in incident response when emergencies occur.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); working knowledge of Tableau or CAFM/CMMS is an advantage
