Associate, Global Markets Structuring, Asia Pacific

Country: Hong Kong

This role is responsible for supporting the development, structuring and execution of FX derivative and structured solutions for corporate clients across Asia. Working closely with Sales and Trading teams, the Associate will help design customized products and risk management solutions primarily in FX, and to a less extent in Rates, Credit and other asset classes to meet clients' investment, funding and hedging objectives.

The role requires strong analytical capabilities, product knowledge and the ability to translate market opportunities and client requirements into practical and commercially viable structured solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Structure and develop customized FX solutions for primarily corporate clients and financial institution clients, and other assets class when required.

  • Perform pricing, risk analysis and financial modelling to support transaction structuring and execution.

  • Prepare client presentations, indicative term sheets and transaction documentation.

  • Work closely with Quantitative, Risk, Legal, Compliance and Operations teams to ensure successful implementation and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Support new product development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the Global Markets franchise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in FX Structuring, FX Derivatives, Sales, Trading or a related Global Markets role.

  • Good understanding of FX derivatives, particularly FX options, including pricing, risk analysis and structuring concepts.

  • Experience supporting corporate and/or institutional clients on hedging and risk management solutions.

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and financial modelling skills.

  • Knowledge of regional FX markets and market conventions.

  • Commercial mindset with strong client, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Fluency in English; additional Asian or Latin American language skills are a plus.

  • Experience with hedge accounting and/or deal-contingent hedging transactions would be advantageous.
