    You and your future

    During this work experience internship at Rabobank, you will discover how Business Continuity Management helps a large bank stay reliable, resilient and prepared. You will work with the BCM4CITO team on activities that support continuity of critical IT services. You will learn how colleagues across the organisation work together to prepare for disruptions and improve recovery.
    In this internship, you will gain practical experience in a complex IT environment. You will support day-to-day work, help structure information and learn how clear documentation, careful follow-up and strong collaboration contribute to resilience.

    In short:


    You support the BCM team with coordination, follow-up and day-to-day activities.
    You help maintain and improve BCM documentation, such as plans, procedures and overviews.
    You contribute to exercises, internal reviews, reporting and lessons learned.

    Practical

    Length: 3 to 6 months.
    Starting date: September or later
    Hours per week: preferably 32 to 36 hours.

    You & your role

    As Business Continuity Management Intern, you know the secrets of keeping important work structured, clear and moving forward. You will support the BCM4CITO team in improving the structure, quality and consistency of BCM processes and deliverables. You will help track actions, deadlines and internal updates. You will also learn how Business Continuity Management is embedded in a large IT organisation and how different stakeholders work together.

    You will get room to learn by doing. Depending on your study assignment, you may also work on a small project or research topic. If your assignment involves a thesis or report, we will make clear agreements about confidentiality and the use of Rabobank information.

    You & your talent

    You are currently enrolled in a HBO/Uni study in the field of IT, security or Business management. 
    You are interested in Business Continuity Management, risk or IT environments.
    You work in a structured way and have strong attention to detail.
    You can support several tasks and stakeholders at the same time.
    You communicate clearly in writing and in conversation, and are comfortable working with tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
