We are looking for an Intern to support in ensuring adequate and effective management of Financial Crime compliance risks in Nordea Asset Management (NAM).

 

About our team

 

Welcome to the NAM Financial Crime Compliance team. The NAM Financial Crime Compliance team is part of a wider NAM Compliance team. We are a team of approximately 20 compliance professionals across multiple teams working with all compliance risks within NAM, i.e. Governance Risks, People Risks, Financial Crime Risks, Conduct Risks, and Data Privacy risks. The Intern we are now looking for will be based in Oeiras with 3-4 other NAM Compliance colleagues and additional other NAM Governance colleagues.  The team that you will be working with mainly is based in Stockholm.  

 

NAM is an European Asset Manager with a global presence, as such NAM has around 900 employees spread across among other Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, Luxembourg, Lisbon, London, and Singapore.

 

What youll be doing

  • Assist in managing the day-to-day tasks in the Financial Crime Compliance team.
  • Provide administrative support to the Financial Crime Compliance team.
  • Contribute to the execution of Financial Crime compliance monitoring activities, which form part of the overall NAM compliance activities, such as identifying and assessing risks, training and reporting.
  • Support in maintaining, developing and implementing the Compliance Risk Management Framework within Financial Crime Compliance.
  • Help in monitoring the financial sanctions and financial crime compliance regulatory environment.

 

You will join an experienced and proficient team with a high ambition to deliver value adding compliance work, to promote an effective management of the compliance risks within the business and to support the senior management and board oversight. 

  • The role is based in Oeiras (Quinta da Fonte).
  • Its expected you to work 100% on-site.
  • Internship duration: 12 months.
  • Salary offer: 1.400 gross/monthly + meal allowance.
