Skills and Competencies

  • At least 3 years of experience in Learning and Development, including LMS content administration and support

  • Experience with Workday Learning strongly preferred; experience with Cornerstone OnDemand preferred

  • Strong understanding of learning management systems, including content administration, user support, curricula, assignments, reporting, and system configuration

  • Excellent project management, organizational, and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, matrixed environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and exposure to Power BI, Power Automate, and AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across stakeholder groups and provide excellent customer support

  • Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use

Education

  • Bachelors degree in any discipline required; equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

Support the administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of learning management system operations to deliver effective and scalable learning experiences across the organization. 

  • Administer, maintain, and optimize LMS functionality, including learning assignments, curricula, dynamic groups, reporting, and system configurations to support business and learner needs

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders through communication, coordination, and engagement

  • Troubleshoot and resolve LMS issues in partnership with Information Technology, Human Resources systems, and cross-functional teams to improve system performance and user experience

  • Manage content administration, learner support, operational requests, and competing priorities while meeting established deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Identify and leverage opportunities to utilize AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency, data accuracy, and the learner experience

  • Maintain the quality and accuracy of LMS content, data, configurations, operating procedures, user guides, and support documentation

  • Provide learner and stakeholder support, triage inquiries to appropriate teams when necessary, and serve as an advocate for LMS capabilities and best practices aligned with Moodys University objectives

  • Support testing of curriculum builds, LMS enhancements, and new system features prior to release while providing Western time zone coverage and coordinating effective handoffs with global team members

About the Team

The LMS Operations Team is responsible for maintaining and administering Moodys University, the enterprise learning management system, while supporting digital learning delivery, learner support, reporting, and LMS administration. The team partners closely with Talent Development and business stakeholders to optimize learning operations, standardize best practices, deliver effective LMS solutions, and respond to governance, data, and reporting requests across the organization.
