Skills and Competencies
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalent demonstrated mastery of structured process improvement methods applied to complex business problems
  • 8+ years of relevant experience leading Finance process transformation, process excellence, or operating-model improvement in a complex organization
  • Deep working knowledge of core Finance processes, controls, data, and operating models, with the ability to become productive quickly without an extended Finance ramp-up period
  • Proven track record leading end-to-end process improvement initiatives from diagnostic and future-state design through implementation, change adoption, and measurable benefits realization
  • Demonstrated experience establishing process governance, ownership, performance measures, control frameworks, documentation standards, and continuous-improvement routines
  • Ability to challenge current practices, identify root causes, and design solutions that improve controls, accuracy, cycle time, scalability, cost, and user experience
  • Strong stakeholder leadership and communication skills, including the ability to influence senior Finance leaders and align globally distributed, cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Additional relevant credentials in change management, project management, accounting, or Finance transformation preferred
  • Experience working across global organizations preferred
  • Experience applying technology and AI as enablers of process improvement, with the judgment to distinguish technology opportunities from process, policy, control, or operating-model issues preferred

Responsibilities
The Senior Business Process Manager will lead Finance transformation and process excellence initiatives, applying deep Finance expertise to assess current-state operations, identify root causes, redesign workflows, strengthen controls, and drive sustainable improvements through adoption and measurable business outcomes.
  • Lead Finance process optimization and transformation initiatives from problem definition and root-cause analysis through future-state design, implementation, adoption, and benefits realization; driving milestones, stakeholders, and delivery to completion
  • Apply deep Finance knowledge to assess processes, controls, data inputs and outputs, handoffs, and risks across close and consolidation, management and regulatory reporting, planning and forecasting, revenue, billing, and other core Finance workflows
  • Use structured process improvement methods to map current state, identify root causes, quantify opportunities, define future state, and sustain improvements
  • Design stronger controls and standardized ways of working that improve accuracy, transparency, scalability, accountability, and compliance across Finance
  • Establish process governance and ownership by defining decision rights, roles, policies, performance measures, documentation standards, and continuous-improvement routines
  • Lead stakeholder alignment and change adoption across Finance, Accounting, Data, Technology, Risk, and other partners, resolving competing priorities and embedding new ways of working
  • Track and communicate measurable outcomes including control effectiveness, quality, cycle time, capacity, cost, adoption, and realized benefits
  • Coach teams in process excellence practices and strengthen Finance capability in problem solving, process ownership, controls, measurement, and continuous improvement
