Meet the Team
The London-based Operations Control team supports a broad range of core operational functions, including regulatory reporting, instrument reference data, KYC, execution broker onboarding, and market data. The team works closely with Compliance, Legal, Business Management, and Technology to maintain strong controls, support business needs, and respond effectively to a dynamic regulatory and operational environment. The team are looking for someone to join on a 12 month fixed term contract to support the firm's regulatory reporting obligations.
What You'll Do
Support the firm across short selling disclosures, shareholding disclosures, and Takeover Panel disclosures
Manage day-to-day processes that support accurate, timely, and complete regulatory reporting
Assess regulatory reporting risk on an ongoing basis and help strengthen controls where needed
Assist with documenting and implementing processes and procedures to monitor compliance across reporting regimes
Stay current on regulatory reporting developments and help evaluate their operational impact
Build and maintain management information to support oversight, monitoring, and decision-making
Partner with stakeholders across Compliance, Legal, Business Management, and Technology to support reporting requirements
Help ensure the Operations function remains fully compliant with applicable regulatory requirements
What You Bring
Strong understanding of regulatory reporting obligations and their impact on Operations
Good knowledge of financial instruments across equities, fixed income, and commodities
Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-moving, high-pressure, and evolving environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
Solid problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues
Ability to manage a range of stakeholders and work effectively across teams
Knowledge of SQL and advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
