Meet the Team
The London-based Operations Control team supports key control functions across regulatory reporting, instrument reference data, KYC, execution broker onboarding, and market data. The team works closely with Compliance, Legal, Business Management, and Technology to help maintain a well-controlled operating environment across critical operational processes.
What You'll Do
Support the firms regulatory reporting obligations, with a primary focus on MiFID II trade and transaction reporting
Partner with Legal and Compliance to interpret regulatory changes and assess their operational impact
Translate regulatory change and new business requirements into clear, actionable business requirements
Continuously assess regulatory reporting risks and strengthen controls where needed
Help document and implement processes and procedures to monitor compliance across transaction reporting regimes
Build and manage MI and reporting processes to track control failures, remediation, and resolution timelines
Assist in identifying and resolving failed, inadequate, or missing controls
Stay current on the regulatory reporting landscape to help ensure the Operations department remains compliant with applicable requirements
What You Bring
Subject matter expertise in MiFID trade and transaction reporting
Strong understanding of regulatory reporting obligations and their impact on Operations
Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-moving, high-pressure, and constantly evolving environment
Good knowledge of financial instruments across equities, fixed income, and commodities
Strong organizational skills and a structured approach to problem-solving
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across a range of stakeholders
Working knowledge of SQL, Alteryx, and Tableau, along with advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Understanding of other trade and transaction reporting regimes, such as CFTC, SEC, SFTR, and EMIR, is a plus
