Role Summary

The two-year Graduate Program provides recent graduates with hands-on experience across a wide range of front, middle, and back-office functions, contributing to projects that support operations, financial activities, client engagement, and regulatory responsibilities.

The Capital Markets Global Payments Department at Marex is responsible for developing and delivering payment solutions that support clients domestic and international payment needs. As part of a growing business within Marex Capital Markets, the team works closely with Sales, Client Services, Operations, Technology, Compliance, and Risk functions to provide a seamless client experience across the payments lifecycle. The department plays a key role in supporting client onboarding, payment execution, operational controls, product development, and business growth initiatives. Through close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners, the team is focused on building a scalable, efficient, and client-centric payments platform while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Purpose of Role

The Capital Markets Global Payments Analyst is responsible for supporting the launch and development of Marexs Global Payments business, contributing across onboarding, sales support, client services, and operational and technology processes. This role will focus on assisting with daytoday activities across the payments lifecycle, providing additional capacity to the team and enabling senior members to focus on platform development, stakeholder engagement, and strategic growth initiatives.

In todays fastpaced and increasingly digital financial environment, effective payments infrastructure is essential to delivering strong client outcomes and supporting business expansion. By gaining exposure across commercial, operational, and technical aspects of the Global Payments business, the team supports a successful launch while building a strong foundation for longterm development and innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the launch and daytoday activities of the Global Payments business, assisting across onboarding, sales support, and client service processes.
  • Contribute to product development and business growth initiatives by participating in process reviews, testing activities, and implementation projects.
  • Support client onboarding activities, including documentation collection, account set-up coordination, and interaction with internal control functions.
  • Develop a strong understanding of payment flows, operational controls, risk management practices, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, supporting enhancements to processes, documentation, and the use of technology as the platform evolves.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies, supporting the continued evolution of the Global Payments platform.
  • Stay informed on regulatory developments and industry standards and best practices.
  • Ensuring compliance with the companys regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges and regulatory bodies.
  • Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.

Genuine interest in one or more of the programs departmental tracks.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship, including, but not limited to, F-1, J-1, and M-1 visa holders, as well as individuals on CPT or OPT.
