The capital markets business has a full-scale Equities, Rates, FX, Credit and Prime Services offering on a global basis.

Role Summary

Capital Markets Client Services role will be part of the newly established global Capital Markets Client Service team that sit within the Capital Markets COO team. The primary function initially will be to provide the numerous Capital Markets trading desks with a central point of contact for onboarding, working closely with the various control and support functions that support onboarding, such as legal, credit, compliance and of course the KYC/onboarding team.

The role will take the lead on any number of strategic changes that will be required to make Marexs onboarding process and excellent and efficient client experience.

Responsibilities

  • Pipeline management working with the brokers and desk heads to correctly prioritize each onboard with the various control and support functions, to ensure clients are taken live within an acceptable timeframe
  • Client Outreach where required, act as the clients central point of contact during the onboarding process
  • Relationship Management Work with senior stakeholders/salespeople to build relationships with the larger clients, with the aim of maximizing trading flow, plus looking for opportunities to cross sell other Marex products
  • Documentation Gain a solid understanding of the various legal documents that are required to be executed to trade the different capital markets products
  • Technology/reporting Work with IT and other internal teams to improve the firms onboarding technology, including the production of more accurate MI reporting
  • General customer support
  • Ensuring compliance with the companys regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges
  • Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.
  • Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values
  • At all times complying with Marexs Code of Conduct
  • To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility

  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience and a bachelors degree.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve and make decisions based on facts and data

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to organize, interpret and manipulate data sets
