Join a dynamic compliance team supporting a leading Swap Dealer and Security-Based Swap Dealer, working closely with the Chief Compliance Officer and Global Head of the Commodities and Global Markets Compliance team to uphold critical regulatory standards. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and enhance a complex derivatives compliance program while engaging directly with regulators and senior stakeholders.

What role will you play?

This role involves managing a global team where you will primarily support the development, implementation, and oversight of the firms SD/SBSD compliance program, ensuring alignment with CFTC, SEC, and NFA regulations, including Dodd Frank Title VII requirements. Additionally, other key areas such as benchmarks and global margin rules will be within your remit. You will act as a subject matter expert on derivatives compliance, advising business, legal, and control functions on regulatory expectations and best practices. The position includes leading key initiatives such as compliance program enhancements, regulatory reporting, and policy development. You will also play a significant role in regulatory engagement, including audits and examinations, while collaborating cross-functionally with trading, risk, and operations teams.

This role has an in office requirement of 3 days a week. 

Salary range for this position: $250,000 - $312,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.   • 10+ years of experience in financial services, with a strong focus on derivatives compliance, swap dealer regulation, or securities law.
  • Experience in managing a global team
  • In-depth knowledge of CFTC, SEC, and NFA rules and regulations, particularly those applicable to swap and SBSD activities.
  • Experience in developing and managing compliance programs, regulatory reporting, and risk assessments.
  • Strong understanding of trade execution, margin requirements, recordkeeping, reporting, and business conduct standards for swap dealer and SBSD entities.
  • Proven ability to interact with regulators, auditors, and senior management.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Prior experience at a swap dealer, security-based swap dealer, regulatory agency, or law firm focusing on derivatives regulation.
