- 5+ years experience in software engineering, with strong expertise in Python and related tools, including FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Pydantic, and pytest.
- Strong software design skills, including domain modelling, API design, and applying practical design patterns to support maintainable systems.
- Experience delivering complex technology initiatives from start to finish in an agile environment while balancing scope, risk, quality, and timelines.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms, continuous integration and continuous delivery practices, and security-focused software design, with ownership of software quality and production support.
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools, such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar, with an interest in using them to improve the way software is developed.
