- 2+ years of handson frontend engineering experience, with a strong understanding of core web technologies including HTML, DOM, CSS and responsive design principles, as well as advanced CSS3 features such as variables and scoping
- Solid proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), including asynchronous programming concepts such as Promises and the event loop
- Experience building reusable UI components using a modern frontend framework (React, Angular, or Vue), with working knowledge of TypeScript for defining clear and maintainable interfaces
- Familiarity with enterprise UI component libraries (e.g., MUI, Ant Design, FluentUI, Atlassian) and design tools such as Figma
- Experience with source control systems such as Git and basic exposure to automated testing tools like Playwright or Selenium
- Experience with any of the following is an advantage:
- Accessibility testing using screen readers (e.g., VoiceOver, NVDA) and static analysis tools such as Axe
- Web Component libraries such as Lit or Stencil
- Web performance testing and optimisation using tools like Lighthouse
- Exposure to AIassisted development tools such as Claude or similar LLMs.
