HOURS: Full-time 35 hours per week

About this opportunity
LBG Private Cloud is looking for Infrastructure Specialists to join our Operating Systems team. We build and run secure, resilient platforms that support modern, private cloud-based services for customers and developers.
In this role, youll work hands-on with operating systems to design, build and support reliable infrastructure in our private cloud environment. Youll help modernise our technology by using automation and as code approaches to deliver scalable, secure and repeatable solutions.
Youll be part of a collaborative team that shapes how our platforms are built and improved, with a strong focus on security, compliance and continuous improvement. This is an opportunity to make a real impact while developing your skills in modern infrastructure engineering.
What youll be doing
Lead the architectural design of infrastructure platform technologies and products across our ecosystem.
Be hands-on, working on building and maintaining our hybrid products and services in your specialist area
Lead technical conversations with collaborators of varying levels of technical background, including Senior Management and other Subject Matter Experts
Be a great collaborator across internal, external, and 3rd party teams
Drive best-in-class approaches to automation and security
Can provide education and mentorship covering infrastructure engineering topics to support different teams on those topics, and drive upskilling
Be an SME in a particular aspect of infrastructure engineering, bringing your skills to our specialist teams whilst working to expand your knowledge across the hybrid cloud platform

What were looking for?
Demonstrable experience as an infrastructure Engineer working in a private cloud environment specialising in the following technologies:
Windows Operating System (2012 onwards)
Automation Tooling (Chef / Terraform / Ansible / Salt)
Source Code Management (Git / GitHub)
Windows Security Standards and OS Hardening
And any experience of these would be great
Dell Open Manage
VMware (including NSX and VMware ARIA suite)
Databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
Storage & Backup (SAN, NAS, vSAN)
Networking (DHCP / WINS / DNS)
Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
Experience working in a government regulated environment
