Full Job Description
Provide global indirect tax services to multinational corporations headquartered in the United States. Conduct transaction analysis and supply chain reviews. Research tax issues relating to business expansions and mergers and acquisitions. Identify and document client business requirements for implementing VAT and sales tax. Support managers and partners to develop responses to client proposal requests regarding global indirect taxes. Assist with the preparation of Value Added Tax (VAT) training presentations. Assist with training junior personnel.
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.)
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT:
Travel to various locations throughout the U.S. required up to 20%.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience. Employer will accept a 3 or 4-year bachelor's degree.
Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Working on global indirect tax projects, including working with indirect tax advisors in multiple countries; Performing global indirect tax research, including reviewing taxability, sourcing, and place of supply and tax recovery rules; Alteryx, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint software; and Assisting with day-to-day oversight of client portfolios involving international VAT/GST consulting and compliance.
Telecommuting may be permitted within commutable distance from the office location, depending on business need.
