As a Trading Services Associate ll within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in the seamless execution of trade activities, from order entry to settlement. While still developing, your expertise in market products and understanding of automation technologies will be instrumental in optimizing our trading services. You will be expected to leverage your proficiency in change management and continuous improvement to enhance the efficiency and resilience of our operating platform. Your role will also allow you to keep developing your relationships with internal stakeholders, presenting insights to senior management, and driving process improvements. Your decisions will contribute and impact on short-term team and department goals, and you will often guide others in their work activities, contributing to the overall success of our trading services.

Job responsibilities 
  • Lead and develop a Middle Office team by setting expectations, mentoring, and reinforcing a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Prioritize workload and manage capacity to ensure timely, accurate execution of day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Conduct performance reviews, deliver coaching and feedback, and support professional development and progression plans.
  • Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across the team and with cross-functional partners.
  • Validate and process credit derivatives trades across single-name and index CDS, tranches/bespoke baskets, options, credit-linked notes, and total return swaps.
  • Book trades accurately in front office platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Calypso, Markit Wire) and reconcile records with back office systems.
  • Resolve trade discrepancies, mismatches, and breaks between front office and back office systems.
  • Manage lifecycle events including credit events, novations/assignments, coupons/rolls/maturities, and amendments/terminations/cancellations while coordinating stakeholders for correct documentation and settlement.
  • Oversee electronic and manual confirmations via Markit Wire, DTCC, and ICE by driving timely matching and escalating aged items.
  • Support daily risk and P&L processes by attributing drivers and investigating and closing risk/P&L breaks.
  • Ensure regulatory and control compliance by meeting Dodd-Frank/EMIR/CFTC/MiFID II obligations, supporting reporting and inquiries, partnering with stakeholders and counterparties, and driving process improvements and change delivery.
  • Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

    • Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; 
    • Minimum 8 years experience in credit derivatives, exotics, or related middle office roles
    • Proven people management and leadership experience, including team development and performance management
    • Strong understanding of credit derivatives products, trade lifecycle, and operational processes
    • Experience with front and back office systems (Bloomberg, Calypso, Markit Wire, DTCC, ICE)
    • In-depth knowledge of global regulatory requirements for derivatives
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
    • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive process improvements
