Join JPMorgan Chase as a strategic leader and champion innovative campaigns that amplify the Consumer investment Banking brand, drive client engagement, and fuel business growth. Leveraging data-driven insights and market trends, you will craft compelling marketing initiatives that showcase our world-class event experiences, strengthen our competitive position, and expand our reach in the domestic market. Your expertise will ensure every event not only delivers exceptional value to clients but also advances our reputation as a premier partner in the financial services industry.

As a Commercial and Investment Banking Event Specialist Vice President, you will craft and execute strategies to elevate our client servicing and event execution to world-class standards marketing plans that increase sales and grow market share for CIB domestically. The Event Production team partners closely with our Strategy, Creative Services, and Internal Client and Conference Center teams to create and execute events. This role also manages direct reports located in New York as well as the broader calendar of events in our Headquarter locations.

 

Job responsibilities

  • Effectively demonstrate a supportive leadership style, managing cross-functional, global, and multicultural teams.
  • Consistently balance strategic vision with meticulous attention to detail, leading client engagement production across diverse regions and industries within CIB while delivering best-in-class service.
  • Proactively execute high-profile customer events, overseeing idea generation, venue selection, budget management, and communications.
  • Strategically provide input and recommendations to planning partners, offering a holistic view of all CIB events.
  • Expertly lead planning and execution for Inclusive Banking, Green Economy, and New York Metro segments within CIB.
  • Reliably execute client event calendar and align with broader firmwide events calendar to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Collaboratively work with CIB Events Marketing and other functional areas to understand and achieve strategic goals for events and sponsorships.
  • Continuously maintain deep industry knowledge, improving and enforcing planning processes and responsibilities for analysts, associates, and senior associates.
  • Efficiently lead multiple project teams and direct various event facets simultaneously, maintaining high quality standards.
  • Diligently manage project budgets, providing ongoing tracking and reporting to management and stakeholders.
  • Accurately ensure timely entry of event data metrics into systems, producing event volume reports as needed.
     

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 56 years of event planning leadership, team management, project management, business management, or corporate communications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to write announcements, invitations, and letters
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience managing projects across multiple businesses, functions, and locations
  • Enthusiastic, persistent, and solutions-oriented
  • Passion for coaching and developing high-performance teams
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment
