Location: Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines

Join our Manila Payroll Operations team and help strengthen how we deliver payroll cash management globally. You will partner with colleagues across the United States and India to improve controls, increase efficiency, and reduce manual work through automation. Bring your analytical mindset to a role that offers meaningful exposure to process improvement, stakeholder collaboration, and operational excellence.

As a Payroll Cash Management Associate in Payroll Operations, you will support US payroll cash management processes, including reconciliations and break resolution. You will maintain audit-ready documentation and control evidence while contributing to automation and process improvements. You will partner with Payroll, Finance, HR, and Technology teams to build scalable and resilient workflows. Your work will help strengthen accuracy, controls, and the overall effectiveness of payroll cash operations.

Job responsibilities

  • Perform end-to-end payroll cash management processes, including SOX-aligned reconciliations of payroll reports to general ledger postings and bank statements.
  • Identify and resolve breaks by investigating variances, documenting findings, and coordinating timely remediation.
  • Support process improvements and automation initiatives (e.g., Alteryx, Pega) to reduce manual effort and strengthen controls.
  • Assist in developing automated workflows and reporting that improve monitoring and escalation of payroll cash exceptions.
  • Perform root-cause analysis on recurring payroll, general ledger, and cash breaks and contribute to sustainable fixes.
  • Partner with teams in the United States and India and with Technology and Finance stakeholders to deliver agreed initiatives.
  • Maintain documentation, control evidence, and audit-readiness standards for payroll cash management processes.
  • Prepare metrics, reporting, and updates on operational performance and improvement initiatives for stakeholders.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and best-practice documentation across global teams.
  • Protect data confidentiality and integrity when handling payroll, banking, and employee-related information.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and recommending enhancements to controls and workflows.
  • Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Two years of experience in payroll operations, cash or treasury operations, finance operations, or HR shared services.
  • Demonstrated experience performing reconciliations, controls, and operational reporting.
  • Exposure to process improvement or automation initiatives, including tools such as Alteryx, Pega, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to identify process gaps and support scalable solutions.
  • Understanding of SOX-aligned controls and ability to maintain control frameworks in complex operations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with payroll or financial systems (e.g., Oracle HCM Payroll or similar).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across global, cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and control discipline.
  • High attention to detail with strong data accuracy and validation skills.
  • Demonstrated ownership to drive issues to resolution and escalate appropriately.
  • Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

    • Experience contributing to automation projects in a payroll or finance operations environment
    • Experience with US payroll operations, including knowledge of key US payroll regulations and compliance requirements
    • Experience performing payroll-to-GL reconciliations and resolving complex variances
    • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus
    • Certification in payroll, HR systems, or a relevant automation tool
    • Experience working in a large corporate environment with standardized governance, controls, and cross-functional stakeholders
