Join J.P. Morgans Commercial & Investment Bank Payments FIG Sales team, a strategic sales and relationship management group dedicated to partnering with Financial Institution Clientsincluding licensed Banks, NBFIs and Public Sector entities across Eastern European markets. Our team delivers J.P. Morgans Payments Productsincluding treasury services, merchant services, liquidity, working capital & trade, commercial card, and Foreign Exchange (FX)to support clients growth and transformation in a rapidly evolving payments landscape. As a VP Payments Sales Manager in the Commercial & Investment Bank Payments FIG Sales team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and expanding the teams client portfolio across all relevant client segments. You will lead and execute sales strategies, develop and deepen client relationships at senior levels, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive payment solutions. You will be responsible for both new and existing clients, helping them navigate the changing global payments environment, and ensuring seamless product and service delivery.

Job Responsibilities

  • Achieve new business goals and annual sales targets by identifying prospects, developing approaches, and leading calling plans with prospective and existing clients across the assigned countries.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of potential new business wins, documenting status and assumptions throughout the sales process, and delivering regular reports to senior management.
  • Maximize profitability with clients through appropriate pricing, product extensions, and cross-selling other J.P. Morgan products.
  • Conduct compelling financial and market analysis to support new business proposals and ad hoc project work.
  • Lead client onboarding processes, including compliance deep dives, KYC/AML responsibilities, and renewals, ensuring a smooth experience for clients and compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Prepare client account plans, briefing memos, and portfolio management reports.
  • Implement and support ongoing client strategies, coordinating cross-sell opportunities with other parts of the Bank.
  • Raise and manage resolution of business issues related to risk, legal, and compliance, escalating as needed.
  • Partner across J.P. Morgan to optimize product and service delivery, working effectively with internal teams and external clients.
  • Represent J.P. Morgan Payments at industry events and forums relevant to Financial Institutions in Eastern Europe.
     

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Significant experience in Financial Services Sales, Transaction Banking, or Cash Management, with a focus on payments services for Financial Institutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deepen client relationships at senior stakeholder level, including C-suite and board-level contacts.
  • Strong organizational skills, disciplined approach, and ability to handle multiple priorities and act with initiative.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities.
  • Ability to manage risk dynamics and implement balanced risk/reward relationships, supporting team and client objectives.
  • Experience working across cultures with internal teams and external clients, ideally within Eastern Europe.
  • Ambitious, driven, and detail-oriented with a focus on delivery and execution.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite of applications.
  • Fluency in English required.
     

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in the Banking, Asset Management, FinTech, Insurance, or Public Sector (Central Banks) segments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in Eastern Europe.
  • Fluent Polish language capabilities
